Seva Diwali

Gajanan Maharaj Temple and Seva Diwali
Jai Gajanan! 🙏
As we celebrate Diwali — the festival of light, compassion, and giving — let us remember that true joy lies not just in lighting lamps at home, but in lighting lives around us.

Each year, Sewa Diwali unites faith-based and community organizations nationwide to spread joy through food drives and service — ensuring no one goes hungry during the festive season.

This year, the Gajanan Maharaj (Shegaon) Temple, North Brunswick, NJ, proudly joined this noble cause, offering our prayers and efforts as Seva to our Guru Mauli and to humanity.

Guided by Maharaj’s teaching — Annam Brahmeti” (Food is Divine) — devotees from our Temple and Gajanan community actively participated in food donation drives, collecting and distributing essentials to local food pantries and families in need.

From children to elders, everyone came together — turning devotion into action and blessings into service. Through this initiative, Gajanan devotees continue to embody unity, compassion, and selfless Seva, spreading Maharaj’s grace across communities.

As Maharaj reminds us,
“Bhao Purna Seva Hechi Param Aradhan”
Service done with a pure heart is the highest form of worship.

Let this Sewa Diwali inspire us all — every act of kindness, every meal shared, and every smile given is an offering at the feet of Maharaj.

📦 Note: Boxes for collecting non-perishable food items are placed in the Temple premises. Please bring donations from the preferred list and be part of this sacred Seva
