Our Hindu temple offers a variety of community services, including volunteer opportunities to support local needs, a welcoming space for worship and charitable outreach to foster unity and serve the community.

Sewa Diwali - Food Distribution to under privileged Community( Nov, 2024)

GMADP along with HSS has distributed 2,500 LBS of food (300 bags) to inner city community members of Philadelphia (PA).  We are following our Guru's  Anandan teachings, we aim to inspire change.  Alongside prayers to Maharaj, let's uphold HIS values of helping others. 

Sparkling eyes, a big smile on lightening face and “Thank you” – what else you want in return when you present a smallest of the bag with few day-to-day needs items. Team GMADP (LA) was way beyond happiness when teen girls said a “BIG Thank you” to them while delivering the items shared by all you devotees. It was all your effort and donations which brought smile on faces & sparkles on these needy girl’s eyes.
You all devotees are true reflection of famous sharing “Be the reason someone else smiles today”. 
3 collection centers, 6 weeks of efforts and 50+ devotees to share the required items.

Bhai-Duj celebration with Homeless Shelter (Nov-2020)

GMADP (Philly) offered 115 lbs - 52 bags ( goodies and hygiene products) on occasion of Bhaiyyaduj - Diwali to residents of CHOC in Norristown, PA with message of universal brotherhood and lighting diyaas or lamps everywhere !


Shri Gajanan Maharaj always taught great values of sharing , caring ,helping, and taking care of everyone in community!
 

Volunteers of GMADP Philly Pariwar came together and contributed goodies/ hygiene products for this Noble cause .Our next generation was greatly involved in packing and making bags ready as well joined for handing over !GMADP (Philly) Pariwar is happy to implement these great values in actual practice , go beyond one's self needs, and help to our community under #SewaDiwali Initiative !!

Gajanan Scholarship - 2020

We are pleased to announce “Gajanan Maharaj Scholarship-2020” for below four students. By the grace of Shri Gajanan Maharaj GMADP could support our devotee students for their studies during this COVID-19 time. Thanks to all devotees who supported GMADP cause. 
This is the first year, Gajanan Maharaj America Devotees Parivar is awarded scholarships to eligible students (12th grade, first-year from Undergraduate and Postgraduate) who are believers of Shri Gajanan Maharaj (Shegaon) and need financial assistance to fulfill their aspirations of achieving academic goals.

Beach Cleaning activity at New Jersey (April-2018)

Saturday (April 21st,2018) *Gajanan Maharaj America Devotees Parivar (NJ)* participated in Beach Sweep activity and enthusiastic devotees offered Naam Gajar at Beach during the event (Wearing HIS name). Kids participated in this event whole heartedly and enjoyed the cleaning activity.
